Accreditation

Becoming Visible has been developed as a self assessment tool and a kite-mark certification scheme has been launched as of October 1st. For this, organisations will have to complete 28 of the 121 indicators (some are mandatory, others alternates) and provide the necessary evidence. The scheme is currently being piloted to enable costs to be set for the external verification which will be carried out initially by Community Matters.

The kite mark will be valid for a period of 3 years. Organisations wishing to retain the kite mark will then need to be reassessed.
