Support

The Becoming Visible workbook is designed to be as simple as possible for committee members or staff to use. However, there is a wide variety of support available to organisations who wish to take it up.

1. Helpline

available 9.30 -13.00, Monday – Friday

2. Loyalty Visits
All community organisations purchasing the Becoming Visible workbook are contacted after approximately 2 months to discuss their plans. We may be able to provide visits to organisations to sit down and discuss the process and perhaps create an initial development plan.

3. Local Agents
In some areas there are local agents; either under a License Agreement or a Supporter Agreement with Community Matters. Where this special arrangement is in place organisations should use these bodies their first port of call for support

4. Support Package
Where an organisation is not supported by a Licensed Agent it is entitled to 4 hours support from a Consultant in the form of either a consultancy visit, mentoring or training.
This is currently offered free to organisations whilst we have funding to support it in the Community Alliance programme.  If additional support is required then charges will be made.  Contact a member of the visible communities™ team to discuss your needs.
